Creme Wafer Sandwich Cookies
Ingredients:
2 sticks of butter
1/3 c. heavy whipping cream
2 c. flour
Directions:
Mix in to a ball and chill over night. Roll out 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut with a whiskey glass for small circles. Put sugar on plate and sugar both sides of the cookies, place on cookie sheet and prick with a fork 3 or 4 times.
Bake on 375 degrees for about 5 minutes let cool on paper bag.
Icing:
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Tint with food coloring (optional)
Directions:
Put icing between cookies and make int a sandwich cookie. Roll edges of cookie in colored sugar for decoration.
